Isabi FactCheck Africa is a civic factchecking organization that works to strengthen active participation and protect information integrity across Africa. We stick to the principles of unbiased reporting, ensuring that none of our financial supporters influence our editorial judgments or decisions.
Isabi FactCheck Africa does not accept donations from anonymous sources, political parties, elected government officials or candidates seeking public office, or any other source we would consider a conflict of interest.
Isabi FactCheck Africa is supported Smart Gate Innovation Hub. It has received direct project support and also via collaborative implementation with other platforms.
A major supporter of the Isabi FactCheck Africa is the Centre for AI Acceleration and Digital Development (CAADD) which seeks to strengthen investigative and data-driven journalism across board.
Whilst we are transparent and open about reporting our funding support, the funders have absolutely no influence on our judgments and editorial decisions.
